On May, 31 there was a charitable concert given by world-famous musician Vladimir Spivakov. He came to Omsk in order to help all the children who need help.
Charitable center ‘Raduga’ has been working with this project since 2014, many media issues mentioned it, so Vladimir Spivakov expressed a wish to support ‘Rainbow house by giving his spectacular concert ‘An hour with Bach. Love the world!’The project ‘Rainbow house’ is well-known not only within Russia, but also in many other countries.
‘It will be palliative center with European standards’, - says Valery Evstigneev, the head of ‘Raduga’. ‘This place will be very special. Children will come there not to die, but to get proper medical and psychological care. We hire doctors, who got special medical education in European hospice community. These doctors will teach parents how to treat their children. We hope during 1 year our hospice will be visited by 200 families, parents will get necessary knowledge about their children’s conditions, about complicated medical equipment. This is a brand new level of palliative care for our region’.
‘When I heard about the project, I immediately decided to participate in its support. The life in Russia is harsh nowadays. We have many obstacles on our way to happy future. However, I believe in Albert Camus idea, that in each ill child the God is suffering. We mustn’t forget that all the obstacles can be overcome with help of kind heart’, - said Mr. Spivakov.
Thanks to that charitable concert 1 million rubles has been collected. We hope it’ll help to open our hospice sooner, which will give a lot of help to our palliative wards. We are grateful to everyone who supports us with the project.
